Inspiration is gathered by exploring abandoned structures around the world and recording discarded furniture found on the streets. Evidence of decay, signs of wear and tear and the objects that remain tell stories of how buildings were used and why they were left forgotten. 

Alexandra Stuart-Lyon is a South London based artist specialising in screen-printing. Newer textile collections are hand dyed with plants or food waste giving a unique, earthy pallette. Sustainability is a fundamental part of the Studio's practice, the ability to repurpose what is otherwise deemed as waste is the most motivating part of Alexandra's work.
